The Sebastian Philosophy

The Sebastian philosophy is simple: to offer our guests the kind of food, and eating environment we would like to enjoy ourselves.These can be little things, like delivering water to you in glass bottles, because we don’t like plastic bottles and are amazed that quality restaurants do use plastic bottles, just because plastic bottles are cheaper. Or these can be major things like the fact that we make your meal when you order it, not the day or the morning before. This means of course that you may have to wait a little longer, but we hope that Sebastian offers an environment that promotes relaxation with our unique lighting system which uses environmentally friendly low wattage lights mixed with multi-coloured LED lighting, providing cool, gentle, relaxing lighting.

If you order a pizza, it won’t originate from a cardboard box, it will be made with care so if you want some ingredient added, we can do that with pleasure. And when you order potatoes, they are not precooked chips out of a bag, they are cut off a real potato, sounds odd, but many restaurants use pre-cooked potatoes or chips.

And if you order some of our house wine, whether red, rosé or white, you will not be drinking a wine chosen for it’s price tag, but a Rioja which may cost us two or three times the normal cost for house wine, but we sell for under 13€. Why? Simple, we want to encourage our clients to enjoy wine which will compliment the delicious food we will be offering to you. Of course if you prefer the popular whites like Viña Sol or San Valentin, then we are delighted to offer these, along with a lovely Pinot Grigio and an equally palatable Sauvignon Blanc and the superb Marques de Casaras. If your pleasure is rosé, again the house wine is a Rioja, and we sell others such as the ever popular Portuguese Mateus Rosé plus several others. And of course our red wines include the house red, again a Rioja, plus a lovely Tenerife wine and several Crianzas.

If wine is not your taste, we have chosen Peroni Italian beer as our only draught beer, due to its high quality taste, but you can also enjoy several other beers by the bottle like Dorada, or imported beers like Budweiser and Heineken, and we have a wide range of soft drinks and zero alcohol beer, if you prefer not to drink alcohol. We don’t dispense soft drinks with a multi dispenser because we don’t like the taste, so we presume you won’t like it either, that’s why we use bottles. However these days, dining is about more than just eating and drinking, so we have gone to huge lengths to try to offer a lovely tranquil environment. And we believe that you may measure the cleanliness of our kitchen by the cleanliness of our toilets, so we make sure both kitchen and toilets are immaculately clean and hygienic.

We often see restaurants where minorities like children or disabled guests needs are neglected, so one of the key criteria for our choice of location of our restaurant was to ensure wheelchair access, and be able to offer toilets suitable for our disabled clients. Children too are not just tolerated, but absolutely welcomed with a free activity pack, and baby chairs are available if you need them. Oh and if you want to check your emails, Wi-Fi is available, free of course.

However we know that first and foremost, it’s the food that counts, and we believe that our menu offers a wide range of deliciously prepared food. Its not fast food, it’s not even quite quick food, it’s fresh food, made for you to enjoy, so please come prepared to relax a little, wait a short time, and enjoy a lot, the food prepared by Raul Roldan Muñoz, our Head Chef and Managing Partner.We hope you share our philosophy, and look forward to welcoming you to our lovely restaurant, where we guarantee satisfaction and where no one leaves disappointed.
